After what can only be described as a turbulent weekend's racing at Ruapuna - full of highs and lows - Dale Williams and the Dale Williams Racing Team ended up in 19th place on the points table in the 2009/10 BNT V8s Championship.  Full of excitement, we saw four seasons of weather in Christchurch, and we had a similar rollercoaster ride with results on the track.  Dale made great progress on the track, moving up from his 17th place qualifying position to finish 14th in the first race.  After starting in 14th place in race 2 he quickly moved up to 10th, driving really well before disaster struck and a blown tyre sent him to the back after a pit stop.  Then from 6th place on the grid for the 3rd and final race Dale moved straight up into 1st place position after a great start in the wet - we thought our bad luck had finally ended.  But after falling back into 3rd place, Dale was taken out on a corner, and he had to fight from the back once again, finishing a tough race - and an even tougher weekend - in 16th place.

We'd like to thank all of Dale's supporters and sponsors, and we hope you'll all be right behind us when we're back on the track in the New Year, 15th January, at Teretonga in Invercargill.
